These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of cleaning services by Maria Williams Commercial Services ("we," "us," or "our") to our clients ("you" or "your"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

1.1 We provide commercial cleaning services as specified in your booking or service agreement.
1.2 Services will be carried out at the property specified in the agreement and during the hours agreed. Any changes to the service location or schedule must be mutually agreed upon in writing.
1.3 We reserve the right to amend or modify the scope of services based on the requirements of each cleaning assignment. Any significant modifications will be discussed with you before implementation.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

2.1 Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.
2.2 A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling of services. Cancellations made with less than the required notice may incur a cancellation fee of 20%.
2.3 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a service in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, staff illness, or force majeure events.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Generally, payment is required within 28 days of the invoice date.
3.2 Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 15% per month, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate our services if payment is not received on time.

4. Access to Premises

4.1 You must provide access to the property at the agreed service time. Failure to provide access may result in a missed appointment, and a fee may be charged.
4.2 If keys or security codes are provided to us, we will ensure they are kept secure and used solely for the purpose of providing cleaning services.

5. Health and Safety

5.1 We comply with UK health and safety laws and take precautions to protect our staff and your property.
5.2 You are responsible for notifying us of any health and safety risks associated with the premises or equipment to be used during the cleaning service.
5.3 Our staff are trained to handle cleaning chemicals safely. We request that you provide a safe working environment, free from hazards.

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 We hold public liability insurance to cover damage or injury caused by our staff.
6.2 We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except where required by law. Our liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the value of the service provided.
6.3 You agree to report any damage caused by our staff within 24 hours of the incident.

7. Guarantee and Complaints

7.1 We are committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will take reasonable steps to address your concerns.
7.2 Complaints must be made in writing and include details of the service provided, the issue, and your preferred resolution.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1 We handle personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Notice.
8.2 Your data will be used solely for the purposes of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Amendments to Terms

9.1 We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and, where possible, notified to you in advance.
9.2 Your continued use of our services will be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
